Bought a Belt CP

Well if you have read any of my other post i bought a Belt CP and i thought it was easier to fly a heli than it is so it smashed into the yard and broke 80$ worth of parts. So I bought another bare bones belt cp so i could just swap my motor and electronics over, because a bare bones is only 100$ and i wouldn't have to build it. Well i ordered it and got it today and they sent me a whole RTF heli. So now i have a ton of extra parts, servos motor radio gyro every thing. Just thought i would share my good fortune!

Re: Bought a Belt CP

I've got a yellow Esky belt CP too. I haven't flown it as yet because while trying out the controls I realize that two of the servos are not responding well. I am waiting on the replacement that I ordered.

Hey kmyers, where did you purchase your bare bones? I think it's a good idea to have one.

Re: Bought a Belt CP

I hear the Belt Cp is a nice Bird my friend is buying one, I bought a Blade 400 3D it is pretty nice. I have a simulator but seems to me that Radds School of Rotary flight got me in the air much quicker and with no crashes. I am only hovering so far (3ft radius) but I am only three weeks into Heli's.

Re: Bought a Belt CP

Just take your time learning, no point going silly and breaking the heli.

I agree with the 'bare bones' idea for spares. I bought a spare TRex 450 HDE, came with a motor and ESC as well...all for £85 sterling...not a bad price.

After a few crashes you will get the idea of the most commonly broken bits, I replaced the skids on my Rex with tough unbreakable ones...other parts have been replaced with metal ones.
