hey amali,

I did the exact same thing as you! I bought a 22e about a month ago thinking it would be easy to fly with the RTF on the advertisment. But i was wrong! I also crashed mine before it left the ground.. I ordered a lot of replacement parts for it but i still haven't figured out whats up with it. Instead i bought a Esky honeybee Fixed pitch. Its much easier to get started with. It only took me a few days to get it set up the way I want and i'm doing spins and hovering quite easily.

If you come across some good set up links for the 22e could you PM them to me. thanks and goodluck

Simulator, simulator, simulator. They save a lot of money, if you can afford the best sim, such as g3.5 which I think is around $300, then get it and train on it. You will save 10 times that much money in the long run. But as for tilting to the side on liftoff, all heli's do that, it's just a matter of countering it before it can flip. And if that doesnt work, floor it until the helicopter gets a few feet off the ground.

Cool Re: Crashed b4 lift off...kekeke

interesting ! if you take a little time and make the proper adjustments , lift-off should be smooth and painless , yes there is a tendency to drift left with a clockwise rotor rotation , as the heli lifts off the tail rotor actualy pushes the heli to the left , I had a 22a , I found that decreasing the pitch advance made for a smoother lift-off , one other problem is RTF is not RTF , there are a number of pre-flight inspections to be done before attempting to fly , and helis are by far one of the most difficult things to fly , take your time , be maticulus and you will have alot more fun
