| getting there Well i tried a couple of times outside just to try and hover and wow there are a lot of things to think about, got it off the ground a lil but the wind was to much so i brought it inside. Well inside i can almost get it off the ground but it wants to pick up the right front first so i am trying to compensate for that by tilting the main rotor forward and to the left almost getting it level when what do ya know the battery started getting week ahhhhhhh i'm addicted and dont have a second battery yet lol. I will post up some more in about 3 hours when the battery is done charging ![]() Second flight Heli gets air!! I got it off the ground only for a second or two at a time but definately better than the first attemt i can tell im going to be addicted haha. |

| Re: getting there well done and its good that you are taking it easy. It is frustrating when you have only one battery but don't let that push you too fast. Teaching yourself to hover is one of the most difficult parts of learning because so many things within egg you on to push your ability faster. Even with the best will in the world people make the mistake of jumping the heli up before they are truly ready. This results in the dreaded crash and confidence knock. Just carry on getting to know your heli and skimming the ground till you have it sorted there. then just hop and bump about till you got that then go for a hover just above. it will all come together soon enough. well done and don't get caught out by the urge. lots of us have been and it really dos'nt help that much if at all. slow and steady.
