newbe here

Hello everyone, i have a question. I have a cp pro, it flew great until i put a aluminum swashplate on it. I went for the first flight with it and when i powered up halfway it wouldn't lift off then all of a sudden it would take off out of control and crash. Any suggestions thanx

Re: newbe here

Wow... bit of a mystery there. Suggest unplug the motor and run the throttle stick up and down to see if the swash moves freely. Move the cyclic around to see if it tilts correctly. Check the pitch at your hovering stick position. Connect the motor and rev it up below the lift off point and move the cyclic around and see if the flybar tilts as it should, and the rotor disk should tilt a little also. The tilt of the flybar and rotor disk should agree with the swash, which should agree with the cyclic stick. I donno other than to check the basic setup. Maybe the pushrods have to have a little different length to work with the metal swash. Does it look to be the same dimensions as the plastic one?
