But the question still remains, are bigger helicopters easier to fly? Does size really matter?

I Truly think that they are. Main reason being that they can take a lot more wind then the hummingbird sized ones. In about a 5mph wind my Blade CP was needing some correction to keep from drifting with the wind, my Swift was easily flying a straight line across the wind, and hovering with no drift at all, none cause by the wind anyways. So yes, I think they do. But if you are going to spend the money for a Swift, you could have bought a Trex if you wanted that instead.

Your are right. I believe you are lucky enough to have plenty of room to practice. I, on the other hand an somewhat restricted on space so a smaller machine would suit me better.(Still, theirs no harm in dreaming.)

yes I do have a good amount of room, Only about 50x50ft living in a woods, but when the fields are off around my house I have about 20 acres of area to fly. I would reccomend a Trex for you if you have limited space. I would not get rid of my Swift for anything now that I have it flying, well maybe a nitro. Anyways good luck with whatever you decide to buy.
