| Hello everyone! I am a new pilot and have never fly before. Please, do not tell me that my walkera 60 is a bad choice for the beginners, I know that already. It is too late, I am a happy owner of one now.The question is next: how to take off? The helicopter is moving side to side and it is very hard to hold it in one place. Is it possible just take off perpendicular to the ground? What should I do for that? When do I need to change main blades? I got a few small craches so far. the blades are ok, but not so perfect like before. Should I change them now or wait a little more? Question for walkera 60 owners: how much does this helicopter can pick up (gramm)? How far can it go (meters)? I also got Li-Po battery. Where to install them? They are pretty much big and heavy (for helicopter). Can you post/send a picture with Li-Po batteries installed? Thank you! Viva. |

| Re: Walkera 60 first take off Hello welcome to the forum if your blades are damaged you should change them. the blades spin at a very high RPM and if they come apart it can be dangerous if you follow the DF 60 thread you will find a lot of good info http://www.helifever.com/forums/walk...alkera-60-a-3/ Rc heli's are very hard to fly and always need correction with the controls. also if you are just starting out be sure to checkout Radds Flight School http://www.dream-models.com/eco/flying-index.html
