Bablateration!!!! CP Pro

Hello Hello,

Newbie here. Read the forums for a day last week and ended up with a E-Flite CP PRO the very next day! Nothing easy here! Extremely fun and very challenging. I am still in the process of dialing things in. I've bashed a few blades and now am into tuning the proportional gain so I can get my hover on. Updates later!

Not FLYING yet still trying to hover. I think my problem is that I am too close to the ground. I have the training gear on my ride and it seems she always wants to drift left a little. What is the lowest I should be able to hover stable?

A heli will always drift left because of the rotor rotation with no wind you should be able to hover at about three ft. At that height ground effect should not effect the hover much. Things should get easier once out of ground effect and your heli should be more stabile.

Once you get out of ground effect you will not believe how much your heli will settle down. Get out there it a beautiful day out with not much wind here in Orlando.
