Whooohoooo!

I got my first real flight today. I bought this Shogun V2 last week and started in on hovering right off. I did some forward fliht straight ahead yesterday and landed out in front of me. Today I just said to hell with it. I took it out here at work and made a lap around the PT field. I took ooff climbed out to about 30 feet and flew about a 50 x 100 ft pattern. I flew around and the only problem was the wind kicked up to 10+ mph, so the down wind was fast as hell and I couldnt hardly get it to land. I had to drop the collective to almost zero to get it to descend.

So there I am zero to forward flight in 7 days!!

Yes I am addicted like crack fiend now.............

Re: Whooohoooo!

Will do on all accounts. I tool it to a local soccer field this evening and made about four flights. The hardest part is getting the glide slope right for the landing. I tend to haul back on the cyclic and end up overcontolling and going backwards for a few feet and restabilizing, other than that good times. the shogun does excellent in forward flight.
