INVERTED flight w/ 49.99 r/s heli......

I know some of you might find this hard to belive but, I bought one of those 49.99 twin blade helicopters from radio shack. the first thing i found it it didnt have much forward flight, so I added weight to the front by sticking a toung ring bar in the front of the nose. by doing this i could screw differnt size balls on the shaft and get more forward pitch.

well tonight i started thinking what the hell this thing should fly upside down with a lil tweeking. so 15 mins later after expermenting I got it to hover upside down a lil more tweeking and got the body to stop spinning.

Ill post some vid in about a half hour after the heli charges again!!!!!!!

I have to hold it upside down but after it starts to lift i let go and then i can fly it around and spin the body both directions.

Re: INVERTED flight w/ 49.99 r/s heli......

i had to take the spindle off both sets of rotor blade install them backwards into the other rotor. them i added weight to the tail, for balance.

I had already added weight to the nose for better forward flight.

today i carved a custom airwolf style body for it. ill post some pics when i get it installed.
