I DID NOT HAVE ANY HELP SETTING EXCEPT YOUR WEB SITE.(THANK,S ) PROBLEM IS I HAVE CRASHED ONCE ALREADY AND I WAN,T TO DO MORE THAN HOVER.
I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WHEN IT GETS ABOUT 100 TO 200 FEET AWAY IT IS HARD TO SEE WHAT IT IS DOING.IS THERE A TRICK TO THIS?
I HAVE A G2 REALFLIGHT AND EVEN ON THERE IT IS HARD TO TELL WHAT IT IS DOING.

Try playing with the zoom features of G2. It should make it easier to see the heli when it's farther away. Even if it's not perfectly realistic, you can see your heli enough until you get used to doing forward flight. I recommend the tutorials in G2 for learning forward flight.

Hey

Yes there is a problem...... and although you wont wanna here it. its you

200 feet away is to far...... for now at least...... 50-100 ft max is all you need and you should really not be flying about yet either

If you can do figure EIGHTS not lazy Eights (proper figure eights mean the nose is always pointing in the direction your going) and can do them in both directions, fowards and backwards, then you might be ready for some of your own stuff.

Its a common thing for people learning Heli's to just do a few weeks hover, then off they go flying about all over the place... and they havent mastered the basics. If you can do the basics, and you need to practice them even after you can do it, then you can fly circuits

I MUST ADMIT I ONLY HAVE HAD THE SIMULATOR FOR A FEW WEEKS,AND BY USING THE ZOOM FEATURE IT REALLY HELPED
I LEARNED HOW TO HOVER IN ALL POSITIONS,AND I WAS SURPRISED HOW REAL IT IS.I HAD ALREADY TAUGHT MYSELF SOME OF THE HOVERING,BUT IT TOOK TWO MONTHS AND ONE CRASH
I AM NOW WORKING ON MORE BASIC EXCERCISES AND IT IS WORKING WELL!!
I AM NOW SENDING IT OUT ABOUT 50 TO 60 FEET AND TRYING TO DO SOME FIGURE EIGHTS.
THANK,S FOR THE HELP

Flying beyond your ability!

Hi RIGHL,

Ok you have done the right thing asking for advice and gudging by the replies you have enough to think about.
However it does seem that you may still be flying just outside your ability.
The thing is you have got the hover and it sounds as if you've thought I try forward flight and discovered that this stage is not to difficult. So off you go and forget that stuff that comes between Hover and Fast Hi figure 8's.
You Really need to master full control of your heli first and that means Slow, small, figure 8's. The thing you need to get in this is control of your heli, No slipping side to side or eratic loss and gain in hight. This is a very important stage in learning without this you will run into more problems and even crashes are possible.
Remember with heli's control is everything and without covering the basics properly you are only cheeting yourself.

Take your time, there will always be other days to fly you don't need to rush.

Regards
Daz

and if it doesn,t feel right i bring it in a hover and gain control and then try it again.
every time i fly i keep working on hovering in all different positions.
thank,s for the tips
