Cool Honey Bee King...

I am a newbie to the Heli world but am pretty good on the G3 sim, my main question is that when i power up my HBK Heli there is a lot of wobble in the blades. I need some help with learning how to get the thing off the floor! I am doing great in the sim but when I get to the real thing I have no success at all... its quite discouraging. Can I get tips from anyone that has had experience with this heli. Also instead of paying for the trainer landing ping pong balls and squers, can i make my own? it couldnt be that hard? Well I am going to "play" with the heli so any tips would be greatly appreciated

Re: Honey Bee King...

Most anyone can help you,,, all helicopters are very hard to fly when starting!
First,, I use RealFlight G2 so I can't tell you what setting to change in G3,, But,, I can tell you that with out changing a LOT OF setting in sim, it won't even be close to the real thing!!! In G2 one of the setting that should be changed is time multiplier from 100 to 150.. It might be in options ? Next,,,make sure that your blade holders,,, are not to tight or to loose. To tight and they can't move to center them selfs. To loose and they won't track well. Read you book that came with it!!! You will need to adjust tracking and other things. And if you didn't get the training gear !!! Wow are you ever going to start spending money and time waiting for new parts!!! The training gear will be one of the cheapest things you will ever get to save big money!! Next if your going to fly helicopter's (( any of them )) order more spare parts NOW!! Start with,,, more main and tail blades,, main motor, main axle and at least two battery's.....
When I order my Honey Bee cp2 and Blade cp,,, I had them ship spare parts in the same BOX! I spent almost as much on spare parts as I did on helicopter's!!! Just so you know what your REALY IN FOR!
PS: I can fly almost any RC Airplane out there.. It took me about 20 hr on sim, before it ever tried the real thing! I went over $1,000. in simulated parts just trying to learn how to hover!! Then I spent another 8 hr. of REAL flight time to just learn how to hover some what!!! Helicopter are hard to fly and need work on all the time,,, and you WILL NEED MORE PART ALWAYS!!!
