radio glitch venture 30

I have a venture 30 with a webra 35, all my servos go crazy when I spool up the engine, Ive checked all the bearings in the main shaft and starter shaft, all are ok ,it seems to do it even if I spool up the engine and hold the main rotor so it can't spin, I have spiral wrapped (plastic) all the sevo wires, and has not changed any thing, also what fuel does this webra like?, it seems to get hot and leans out on 30% is that too much nitro for that motor?

Hi Chris,

I don't know about the Webra but does the same thing happen when you raise the throttle with the engine off? If it does then maybe you have some kind of radio mix turned on that is mixing the throttle channel with the others.

Huey, thanks for the reply ! no with the engine off it works perfectly, Ive even tried moving the heli by hand and shaking it with the motor off, works perfect until you fire up the engine.

Hi Chris.

Strange! Well if it's not from the vibrations from the motor then that motor must be throwing off RF signals some way? I don't see how that's possible but you never know.
Just a thought, If you have a different rx try that maybe, yours has a loose connection inside.

Well I am again master of my domain !!!!!! turned out the glitch was caused by the rubber mounts on the skids (the ones that mount the skids to the main frame) , the ones on the left side wer rubbing metal to metal on the inside, replaced them with some engine mount dampners I had for a boat motor and lo and behold no more glitch, I ran about 4 tanks thru it today with no problem, also I found out the webra 32 doesnt like much nitro (10-15%), tends to get hot and loose power with any higher nitro content.
