Shuttle plus vs century hawk sport/pro

Hi,
I'm looking for a 2nd heli to go with my electric one & have looked at century hawks.I know very little about RC helis other than what I've learnt from my electric one & read on forums.I was all ready to go out & buy a century hawk & phoned my nearest stockist to get a price.Whilst chatting he said what about the hirobo shuttle plus as for £65 ($90?) more than the bare hawk kit I could get a shuttle plus kit with O.S.32 engine as part of a special deal.
So now I'm kinda stumped on which one to go for, will the shuttle make a good trainer that will also be fun to fly when I get better & how similar to the hawk flying wise are they. Also any other words of advice on the shuttle plus.

Thanks
Shane.

Not many hawk/hirobo owners on here I guess?

Anyway bought the shuttle plus & it's almost built now.Must say its a great kit to build & I can't wait to fly it.

Re: Shuttle plus vs century hawk sport/pro

Hi there, I have Hawk Sport which has been great so far....Century dont produce the Sport as such now....though you might still be able to find them.

The latest Hawk is the 'Pro' version which isthe Sport but with all the nice trimmings...this can be supplied with a 40 size Toki engine....a Jap engine which sounds like its good quality....being 40 size will be good...my Sport is powered with an OS 32 which is ok but does lack power.

Spares are cheap for the Hawk...dunno how they compare with Hirobo....
