Wink starting

Hi all
Having trouble starting my shuttle with os 32 engine, takes it a while to start a few minutes or so seems like if there is no fuel going to the carb, have checked filter and low idle screw. Is there any way of priming the fuel to get to the carb fast.

Re: starting

Hi Sean,

I had a similar problem with my Raptor a while back- I couldn’t seem to get the fuel to the carb fast enough… Try this:

To get your Hirobo (which has an OS 32) primed up.

First, fully open the throttle.

Then, turn the engine a few times till you see the fuel creeping into the carb.

After, go ahead and lower the throttle to the lower position, plug the glow plug, then starter her up.

Good Luck!

Re: starting

A trick I've learnt from model shop expert:
Without glowclip attached, turn motor over for a few seconds at high idle with finger over muffler outlet (I assume you have pressure line connected between tank and exhause nipple). Muffler back pressure forces fuel through. Then attach glow clip - has worked every time so far for me.
