Re: helimax rotofly As a suggestion to a pretty reliable Heli: I suggest the CP Blade Eflite with collective pitch and CCPM mixing. It is about $219 and comes with everything you'll need to fly. Parts are easy to aquire. It is a begginers heli but can altered into a intermediate heli.

Re: helimax rotofly well i'm learning to hover but to do it i have to keep moving the right stick left and right to keep it in a some what stable hover i've tried moving the trim all the way to the right and then all the way to the left one click at a time seems like when i lift off it banks left and i've put the 4th tail motor in it today are all electric helis like this or is this one just junk

Re: helimax rotofly When you lift off yes you have to compensate the torque effect with the tail rotor but after take off there should be very little use of the tail rotor to keep it in place a well trimmed heli will need very little input on the tail rotor. As for the motor those type heli's go through tail motors like crazy I really don't care for that type of heli just because you will need a bank loan just to keep it in tail motors a more expensive heli that uses one motor be it electric or nitro with a belt driven tail is much better and can be trimmed much better than a two motor heli.I call those kind of heli's spirit breakers because new people get the rtf heli's like that and think that they will take it out of the box and charge the battery and fly well that just isn't going to happen then when it does fly it goes through motors like yours very fast and then it gets expensive and the person gets upset and quits and the heli ends up on E-bay,that is why there are so many of those kind of heli's for sale on that site,my opinion and only my opinion is that they are cheap junk made just as a money maker for these companys that make them and a money drainer for the people that buy them. And it is not just yours there are tons of those type heli's around made by many different companys a rule of thumb is if it has one motor it is ok if it has two motors stay away. ![]()
