| Re: 6 channel dragonfly 35a Hi, I've also got a Walkera 35 6 ch heli, the heli itself is a clone of the zoom 400 which means you can interchange the spares, I advise you get yourself some spare tail rotor input gear drives as these strip their teeth a past time in my experience. I also found that the batteries mine shipped with weren't providing enough power to lift the heli off the ground but after upgrading to 1400mah LiPo's theres been no problem and this seems to help the CofG as with the std batteries the heli was very tail heavy. Also ensure that you check the servo's as mine weren't that special and I have replaced all four with HS-55's and saw a vast improvement in stability and controlability. This may seem an expense but once you have done this you will have an awesome and very capable heli and it will still have been much cheaper than you could have bought a proper zoom or equivalent for. My next project is to convert mine to a belt driven tail rotor to stop having to replace the gears all the time! If you do need spares or parts I highly recomend Midland helicopters, www.modelhelicopters.co.uk and look at the zoom spares for the relevant parts, happy hovering!! |
