First off the Raptor does it come with servos, gyro, receiver and crystal? If I had to say I would say no so you are going to have to get all of that,if you buy a radio with a servo combo then that would work but you have to make sure that they are the correct size servos to fit the raptor and most of the time the higher end radios come with receivers my Futaba 9CHPS did come with one but it is a $450.00 dollar radio. The gyro you should use is the Futaba 401 with the servo that comes with it around $220.00 it is the best for what you want. You will also need a Field box with the starter and field battery and you will need a fuel pump to put fuel in the heli and a glow starter to ignite the glow plug. You will need tools to build and maintain your heli, there are so many things to list I don't think that it would be wise the best thing to do is find someone in your area that already flys heli's and talk with them or a reliable hobby shop in your area that sell heli's.Try this to see if you can find some pilots in your area
http://www.geocities.com/cj_higdon/locator/ most pilots will be glad to help new people to get into this hobby. The locator does show pilots in New Zealand hopefully there is one close to you so you can get some help if not E-mail one anyway he is in your area so he could lead you to the better deals in your area.
