Newbie-1st hour i think i broke my new heli

i just received my new z400 #35 helicopter. Read the manual (useless) tried just getting the helicopter to hover. i had some very basic success was able to get it to lift a bit but wasn't sure how to compensate it tiped and the tail roter must have gotten stuck and the main blades kept spinning. now they rears do not spin at all. looking at it it seems that two gears join where the body and tail meet that link the two systems the one looks like it got pretty chewed up. Not sure where to get it replaced. i would hate to have to wait another week

also does anyone know of a simulater that will work with the controller that came with the copter. it did come with what looks like a serial cable.

Running windows xp pro.

Bummer! Not sure what to tell you other than to give the simulator a ton of work before you fly it. I got mine the other day and the only thing I did was take the controller out of the box, set the computer up and ran the simulator.

What kind of software came with it? Mine had a serial cable I plugged in, loaded joystick drivers for then calibrated the joystick. It has some software you need to run in order for the joystick to see the simulation program.

Yo Danzi

Nice one. The Queen of England could not have made the point more clearly.
