Correct way to setup radio's?

I am just starting and am practicing on the sim. What I want to know is what is the correct way of setting up how your radio gear. Eg what sticks do what?

At the moment I have

Left Stick
^v is forward and backward pitch
<> is left and right rotation

Right stick
^v is throttle (fixed collective copter)
<> is left and right pitch.
