Camera Helicopters

Anyone have any experiance flying helicopters with cameras on them?

I saw a thing about it, how they are using them in movies, and thought it would be a cool project.

Any idea what they use?

Also is there any way to control a helicopter with a laptop (and a joystick)?

Re: Camera Helicopters

If your still interested:
You can check out this pages for cameras, but my knowledge of this is limited, so heres what i know.
WARNING, THESE THINGS TEND TO BE EXPENSIVE!!!

You would need a camera with a transmitter, a receiver and either a VCR or a digital camera. You could maybe also plug the receiver into the tv to while taping to see the live feed, this you could also do with the digital camera.

You might also want to check out this: http://www.helihobby.com/html/eyetop.html as you could pretend to be the pilot sitting in the cocpit. I have to say i t loks cool.

As to the laptop controller thingi heli, I have no idea!
Hope it helps YAH!

For now...
