| Re: Which helicopter? is the x400 the shaft driven one? btw a rtf clone of x400 would be walkera 35 and 36 since ur already gonna buy electronics why not save on a gyro...? the rtf kit is 150.00..... belt or shaft driven all u havta do is change servos,rx,tx.. the gyro just came out and is better saves u 60-138 bucks on gyro.

| Re: Which helicopter? belt driven tail rotor. so far every thing i read about it is pretty good i have seen so crazy vids of it flying including a guy that flys it upside down and lands it on the top rotor button. goto this page http://www.helitown.com/X400.htm and scroll down to the vids section. what really sealed the deal today is the x400 is on the fron cover of one of the heli mags this months and great reviews inside. |

| Re: Which helicopter? Well i finaly took the leap of faith and ordereda heli. I know everyone in the world has differnt opinions about what to buy and where to buy it, weather or not to buy off ebay, stuff like that. so I think i did my home wok and read around and finaly decided to buy the x400 off ebay from rcdirect. after a long talk with my g/f we decided to buy the x400 pro. With all the carbo fiber, the alum. parts, 2 batterys, and a futaba radio. I figured i am getting a better deal in the long run. Let me tell you I didnt really want to spend the xtra money but she convinced me cause she knows all ill do is want to upgrade and upgrade the base model. I guess she figured that out from my xmod car I spent forever buying lil parts for it off ebay. so anyway this is the heli i bought.............. http://cgi.ebay.com/RTF-Carbon-Fiber...QQcmdZViewItem In 10 days i figure it should be here. I CANT WAIT!!! |

Well my helicopter came fed ex today........ they left a nice paper stuck to the door saying they were there and i could pick up my package after 5:20pm or wait till tomorrow and they would try again. The thing that sucks is the g/f and her 2 kids were here and no one heard the fexex guy knock!!!! well dont think for a min. that im not going to get my package at 5:21 lol. |
