Re: Which helicopter?

The pitch was probably sticking. I think that is the same heli as the Walkera 22e or d or something so I'm not real experianced with that model.

That makes sense to me. Thanks BABY HUEY.
Is there anything I can do to eliminate that?

Re: Which helicopter?

If the head is made simillar to the Walkera 36 the pitch slider block sometimes sticks were the little bar goes through the mainshaft. I've taken to polishing the opening in the shaft to help stop this problem.
But again I don't know if they are the same design.

Re: Which helicopter?

I can't say if they're similsr, but I notice that the swash plate slides up and down the main shaft to control the pitch. I guess that's what I'll have to polish or lubricate.

On the belt cp I observe that I'm not getting any or not much response on 2 servos. Unlike the EXCEED-RC where you're getting full travel on all the servos. Could that mean that the servos need replacing?

I'm having a bad time being introduce to this sport. I've got lots of patience, but this is really trying. I've bought 2 Helis and haven't really flown one as yet.

Re: Which helicopter?

Both of your helis sound like they are eccpm. This is harder to setup than mechanical mixing. I would first try to center all of the servos by making sure that the arms are level when the sticks are centered. Unplug your motor when you are checking this!

Re: Which helicopter?

You're quite right BABY HUEY. There are 3 rods on each swash plate not 4. But some thing's wrong with the E-Sky belt CP. 2 of the servos are just shaking and there's a buzzing sound coming from them. I was wondering if the problem lies with the servos themselves, the transmitter or something else. I don't think it's mechanical, because I disconnected one of the linkages and am getting the same problem.

I will like to try the EXCEED-RC again after ensuring the shaft is not sticking, but I need to replace some parts first.

Re: Which helicopter?

Yeah, You might have some bad servos. If you have extras try one of them.

Re: Which helicopter?

I'm considering an T-REX 500 for my first heli. I have to go with electric, this size seemed like what I should shoot for..

Any alternate advice?
