Unhappy voltage differences for charging.

I am considering on purchasing a new bell 47 Twister electric helicopter from England. the problem is voltage in the U.K. is at 240, while in the U.S. it is 110. As you guessed, the charging unit for this helicopter is for the 240 system. I was told that a transformer would have to be used in order to accomodate the right voltage. Has anyone run into this problem and what is the procedure to set this up? I can't find any dealers in the U.S. that carry this heli( this is the replica of the army medevac helis). If you know of one let me know.
