I cant say for sure but Id for a fully specced ready to go condor, I dont think you'll get much change from about $4500.00 (if you buy the helicommand) Id order the thing online in fact if you contact century direct they MAY be interested in giving you a pred or a condor at a reduced price given the application and the Qudos they would gain from being associated with such a project if successful.

Ive had a bit of a thought regarding you project, If I was doing it I think Id be tempted to hang the sensor package from a line (the way they lift military guns and the like with helis) That way you achieve 3. things, 1. you insulate the sensor package from the helicopters vibrations (which will be significant). 2. You get the sensor package away from the EM emmissions from the heli. 3. You can then operate the heli at about 6 feet out of the ground effect and high enough to allow the heli commands auto hover to work.

I'd be interested to see how you go with this project. As Im sure century would if you tell them about it.
