| Re: Hey All Im New... Hi Nate Welcome to the addiction. The simple answer to your question is "YES " tun's of upgrades are out there for your CX2. Just type in "CX2 upgrades" into your search engine and be prepared to spend days reading all that you can stand. But if you ask me I would have to say save your money for the next step in your new habit. The CX is a grate learning tool to get you started. It will teach you the basic skills necessary to fly heli's.But you'll get board with its limited capability's far too soon. You'll be better off saving up the money you would have spent on upgrades to the CX . And spending it on your next heli. You'll find far to soon that this is a highly addictive and rather expensive hobby. Your money is better spent on wear you intend to go with it. If you find yourself truly hooked on this sport the first thing your going to want to think about is a descent TX (radio) that will take you through the next couple years or more. A good TX will run a couple hundred $$$ at the least. And you don't want to be buying a deferent one every few months to keep up with you heli's demands. So try to buy the best one you can afford right out of gate. (Buy cheep you buy again.) The next thing to consider is the electronic (servos, gyro,RX excreta). IF you get high quality components the first time they will transfer over to many different heli's. The same can be said for support equipment. Rather you chouse to stay with electric or go nitro get the best you can the first time. Most importantly of all is have fun and be safe. ![]()
