Starter cone Help

Ok well after doing alot of reading this past week and checking out the helicopter flying the simulator for awhile. I decided that I should be able to start the helicopter.

So I took it out into a field setup everything like it was supposed to be. It is used so I never started it. Hook up the glow plug.

I then turn on the starter and hook it to the starter cone and it didn't move 1 bit. Its set up like it said in the book that he sent with the heli.

The book said that if the engine cone doesn't turn easily with the starter. It probably flooded. They said remove plug. Well there are 3 plugs don't know which one it is and it doesn't show on diagram. So I disconnected the fuel line and a bolt well really wasn't a bolt. Hard to explain it cause I can't find a name of what it is in the diagram. Its has a sharp point end that goes into the engine. The other plug I don't really think it was a plug more like a fuel regulator maybe.

So with the fuel line and that point disconnected I then try to turn it with the starter to get out the excess fuel like it said too do still the starter cone doesn't move.

Unless they were talking about the glow plug clip. Which I don't think they were. I know fuel runs in there but it doesn't seem like it will be easy to remove without taking off alot of things.

I have emailed the seller but he hasn't responded on it. I can't send it back no refunds so. Any help you guys could give me would be appreciated.

Thank you

Ooh forgot to mention I took it down to 1 of the hobby shops near me but to check it out. Will cost me $120.00 I don't have that. Not atm anyways especially with christmas here.

you should only buy 2nd hand helicopters if you know your stuff.

when your 2nd had car brakes down you can fix it...........but when im in me 30k car i need not to worry ....i got a manual and a warranty.

Thanks for the info, but buying something new has never been worth it too me.

Guess your the type who pays 30k for a car and thinks wow I got a great deal. While I pay 500 bucks for the same car that was either in a accident or auction and fix it up for less then 7k.

New doesn't mean ****.

Yeah I only paid 170 bucks for everything so what.

I bet you paid alot more and destroyed alot more. Sorry I am not the type of person to throw away money just for the sake of throwing it away.

Came here for help on what it could be before I took it apart not to hear a 15 year olds smart remark.

Something your parents should have told you when you were young. Maybe you were just too stupid or to slow. If you have nothing constructive to say on the subject then shut up. Mind your own damn business.
If you can't post without abuse .........don't bother. This forum, unlike other forums..well we don't slag people off...ok mate

Well sorry for getting upset just didn't sound like a joke. Just a bad comment that after running checks on it and get frustrated didn't want to hear.

Well after 4 hours of taking it apart I think I found the problem I went to the machine shop and made the piece that I needed for it. Now it spins only 1 thing is bothering me.

There is this gear that goes first then the next gear goes on. But the first gear doesn't seem to do anything except space out the second gear. Maybe thats all it for. Its on the cone linkage.

Also it seems that some of the stuff was a little loose tightened everything up. Gonna put it back the way I saw it.

Still don't think it needs it.

Engines are so easy to work on. Nothing too it. Now getting it back together is the hard part all them damn bolts. Hoping I don't brake the plastic pieces.

Also I don't understand something now the compression goes both ways. Not just single way. I get a compression pop when I turn it in either direction.

Well cya Tomorrow I will tell you if it flys.
