Re: Help!!!! ToTal NOoB

Hi Crazyheli,

Welcome to the forum

I'll try to help if I can lol and I'll try to keep it in plain english (no promises mind ).

Im not really familliar with the dragonfly but I can tell you that how you fix a tail problem does depend a lot on the type of heli you have... The gyro switch I talked about in another post is usually found on helis that have a seperate gyro and my gut instinct tells me that your bird has a "4 in 1 controller with 2 little adjustment screws and a red/Green LED.)

The first thing we need to find out is what its doing.. I see your saying its spinning but is it a slow spin or a fast spin?.

Do you have any control over the rate of spin at all.. ie if its spinning fast, does putting in full opposite rudder (Rudder is usually the left stick in the horizontal direction) slow it down or speed it up.

Does the tail rotor start up when you increase the throttle?

If you can anwser these, we might be able to pinpoint the problem or at least where to look .

Take care and talk to ya soon

Azzy

Re: Help!!!! ToTal NOoB

Hi mate..

Sounds like the gains are out..

Take a looky at this. Im betting its gonna be pretty similar to what you have since the dragonfly seems to be a walkera clone of it..

http://www.heliguy.com/Forum/honeybe...ures-t638.html

Im guessing you need to increase the tail rotor gain. Cant be 100% certain but that is sure what it sounds like. If I was you It start by putting both of the adustments in the middle and seeing what happens. (Its worth taking a note of where they are to start with since if we screw things up completely, at least there is a chance of putting it back how it was.)

Also.. You need to make sure that when you plug in the battery, that you DO NOT MOVE the heli until the flashing red light goes steady green (not sure thats the correct color sequence but the steady light is right) Moving it before this point screws up the gyros "this is the centre" calibration.

Give that a go as see how you do.

Good luck... Azzy
