My first crash

Hello all...

I have been reading the forum for quite some time and last week I got my first RC helicopter. I got the Esky Honey Bee Cp2 (ek1h-e005).

I spent about 4 or 5 days just spinning up the blades just enough to where it would get light but not lift off the ground. Today decided to get risky and took it out side. Sure enough i crashed it into a bush and didn't throttle down right away... and now I have some issues...

This being my first one I'm not really sure and everyone is always seems to be a great help here I figured I would get my feet wet. Nothing is broke that I can see though the main blade speed is no where near fast enough for flight now. The motor and the large gear at the bottom of the main shaft spin at normal ( full ) speed but the blades don't turn with full force. So I can spin the main blades by hand but the gears do not turn. I assumed something is stripped but i just don't know what or where or what i need to replace. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Matthew

Re: My first crash

After taking some time to look it over... i found the pin I think that goes through the shaft... i assume that is supposed to be 1 piece? Because when I pulled it out it was in 2 pieces (pulled 1 piece out each side of shaft)

Re: My first crash

Hi there,

Welcome

Yep that'll do it. Just make sure that the bit the pin hold isnt split.

Take care... Azzy
