Question Is there such a thing as a multiple battery charger?

Hello, I just bought my first heli, the Blade CX2. I want to get some more batteries so that I can fly it for longer than 15 minutes.

Is there a charger that will charge 2 or more of the Li polymer batteries that come with the CX2?

If not, what's the best method to charge the most batteries as quickly as possible?

Thanks for any help!

Re: Is there such a thing as a multiple battery charger?

Hi there,

Welcome to the forum

There are chargers out there that can charge multiple lipos (4) at the same time but these are quite expensive.. RB8194 : Robbe Profi Home Charger at 184gpb. $350. Also they are mains powered so there isnt much chance to use them at the field and they only do 1 - 4 lithium cells which isnt much good if you ever get a bigger machine such as a trex 600. If I was you I think Id do it like this.. buy a good 1-6 cell lipo charger (or more if you can afford it) then buy 3 packs. 1 to fly, 1 to charge and 1 cooling. You can charge a 2 cell lipo in about 1 hour so you'll fly for 10 mins. Wait 15 mins (good to cool the cx's motors) then fly for 10 mins, ect.

Hope this helps... Azzy
