Post taking the plunge...

hi all... been lurking for a little while... i think i'm ready to the plunge now and buy something.

i'm looking at the piccolo v2.

here are the ?'s i hope you guys will help with:

1. is it wise to purchase a 6ch radio with the thought in mind that some day i'll be ready for a CP conversion?... or should i just go with a 4ch?

2. if i were to buy the pic v2 from ikarus for ~$99... what else do i need besides the radio? this is what i gather i'll need so far...
- helicopter
- radio
- servos
- battery/charger
- picco plus board
- receiver???
- anything else???

i'm a little confused on how to go about getting everything to work happily together (like the radio, servos, picco plus board etc.)... how do i make sure they're all on the same frequency?

thanks in advance,
shawn

Hi there, welcome to the board. There's quite a few Piccolo flyers here, so keep in tune.

For me, I fly the ZAP 400 and Kyoshop EP24 currently.
