Angry trouble with heliHobby

Has anyone else had trouble with heliHobby They sent me the wrong stuff, I sent it back, and now I can't get my money back. They said they have a 35% re-stocking fee, even though they sent me the wrong stuff.

Re: trouble with heliHobby

That's strange, I've bought from them many times and they have been great, never a problem and fast service.
I would deal with them exclusively if they had a better website design.

Re: trouble with heliHobby

I've had trouble with them on two occasions. Both times I sent them an email as soon as I got the parts and both times they chose to ignore them. When I called them to tell them that there was a problem with the things I had bought they tolled me I was out of luck because I had taken the parts out of there original packaging and that voided the warranty. One was a MicroHeli swash that felt like it had square bearings in it and the bottom was all scratched up. The other was a servo that started spinning counter clockwise as soon as I plugged in the battery. I could get it to rotate the other way by applying some stick input but it would just keep going until it hit the end point then sit there and groan. The last time I talked with one of there sales people and tolled him the problem his response was " Since you've taken it out of the package already how do we know that you didn't do something that caused the problem. And your not just trying to scam a free replacement".
There are plenty of other reputable places out there to spend your hard earned money with. But Heli Hobby will never see another penny from me.

Re: trouble with heliHobby

That's a shame, I'm sure glad that this post came up before I ordered from them again. I sure won't recomend them to anyone again.
