| I just downloaded FMS but I cant get it to work with my radio. it seems to be responding when I move the controls but not correctly. I tried to use the calibrate feature in the controls menu but it didn't help. Im using a JR XF622 radio, anyone have and hints? thanks! |

| Re: help with fms Calibrate is for centering the sticks....the sticks are moved all around and then centered...including any trims...centre these as well. Sounds like the channel selection is all messed up. Channel: 1=aileron/roll 2=elevator/pitch 3=throttle/power 4=rudder/tail rotor...push left and the NOSE goes left and vice versa 5=spare/gyro remote gain...you dont need this on FMS 6=collective pitch...or up and down these are the channels and functions that they do. You might need to reverse some functions...the collective and throttle are the most awkward to do...its hard to tell whats going on. Note: if the radio is a dedicated plane type...then channel 6 (collective) MUST BE ASSIGNED TO CHANNEL 3 so collective and throttle both = channel 3...they share the same stick ie the left hand one ..up and down. Hope this helps. once its all done you should be ok...it only has to be rehashed if you load the software onto another computer...or use a different radio. I like FMS...its not the best but for what it is, it does the job well..ie getting you used to flying what is a tricky machine. Rob |
