Can You Help?

I have a brand new E-Sky Co Comanche 4ch. On the transmitter ther are a series of 4 slider switches for Servo Reverser. The four are identified as AIL, ELE, THR and RUD. How should they be set? You can set them as NORM or REV. What are they used for? I am really a novice and would be happy to learn how to fly this heli.

My transmitter is Mode 2 so the throttle is on the left. Also what are the "trimmers" used for?

Will I ever get this heli up? :-)

Re: Can You Help?

Hi there,

The reverser switches do exactly that, they reverse the direction of function in question Ail = Aileron or Roll. Ele = Elevator or Pitch. Thr = Throttle or rotor speed. Rud = Rudder or Yaw. They should be set up so that when viewed from the tail of the heli, the Left aileron (Right stick horizontal movement) gets you roll movement to the left. Up elevator (Right stick vertical movement) gets you a nose down (tail up) pitch movement. Throttle down (left stick vertical movement) gets you zero throttle (so you push the left stick up to increase throttle). Left rudder (left stick horizontal movement) get you a yaw movement nose left (this will feel backwards because the tail will go right but you fly looking at the nose of the heli, not the tail)

The trimmers to the edge of each control put in a small ammount of control in the direction you move the trimmer (eg. this saves you having to hold on right aileron to compensate for drift)

Can I reccomend visiting this site to help you to learn to fly...

Dont be put off by the fact that its a big heli he uses, the principles are the same.

Hope this makes sense, please feel free to ask if it doesnt..... Azzy
