My first post

Hello everyone...

I'm not sure of this if the right place for my introductory post but I did not see an area for introductions. (could have missed it though)

Well I got into r/c helis about a year now and started off with a blade CPP. I then graduated with a trex 450SE, then I got the 600CF, then the 450SEV2 and now a second 600CF.

I'm completely in love with this hobby. I think we've got the most dedicated set of hobbyists around. I bleieve what keeps me interested is the fact that I am still learning and that it is very challenging. I am completely a hands-on type of guy and I absolutely enjoy putting these birds together. This must me one of the most difficult, as well as interesting hobbies in the world.

Forums such as this one has proved priceless during my learning curve. I am still learning and I've got years to go, but I'm really looking forward to it.

Anyways, I hope to interact and assist in any way with the members of this forum soon.

Lutch

Re: My first post

Yes its a very interesting hobby, you have a good attitude to it...which helps.

We all have something to learn....and we all have something to give in terms of help and encouragement.

I like the Trex series....some great helis there...I own a 450 XL HDE which got badly crunched the other day....antennae was too long..I did a loop and the head got tangled up and stopped suddenly...poor thing fell about 80 ft...the worst crunch ever

Welcome to the Forum...its one of the best around...I belong to one or two others which are good in terms of technical help....but this one for sheer enthusiasm and no bull approach..well...no one else gets close.

What I like about this site is that it deals with the beginner...and budget helis. Some other sites dont really cater for this...or plainly dont have the patience to answer typical beginner questions.

I have been in this hobby for about 2 yrs or so now....and never get sick of it. Its an obsession

Rob
