Help needed from a beginer

Last week I received my first R/C Aero Hawk heli (a dream as a child came finally true at the age of 33). I study hard both the manual and a lot of training on PC simulator program. I finally managed to come on with it even if its much more difficult in reality than in the PC. I did well with a few crashes only but i have to say that i couldn't lift it more than a 1m high. After a minor crash the rot tail stop to fuction. I tryed to bring up again but it didn't work, and finally it hapen the unbelivable, my 7 year old son turn on and off the transmiter 2-3 times when i was on my way to the heli, and the damage is big- the main axle cut off exactly under the slanting exterior-tray. My question is: can I fixed alon?, beginer without the right tools and knowledge, if there is any distributor as is writen in the manual in every country? I live in Stockholm, Sweden. Can someone help me please.

Sorry to here that your heli got crashed. Glad that nobody was hurt. It sounds to me that you were lucky, The thing with helicopters is that you should allways carry your transmitter to the heli with you. Get in the habbit of carrying your trnsmitter to the heli as you land and take the aerial down when you approach it, You can then turn the heli off then the transmitter. this will prevent that from happening again.

Now the Heli, I would say that if you are not comfortable with the repaires yourself then it is best that you take it to your local model store and get there help.
By the sounds it will require you to dismantle it and find out exactly what is damaged then replace rebuild and setup all this before you even think of flying again.

My main worry is that you say it is far harder to fly for real than on your simulator!!!!
What simulator? do you use a dummy transmitter to fly or are you useing the Keyboard?
The simulators today can and do fly so realistic that if you learn the propper way then you should be fine when you fly for real.
I used my simulator till I could fly with the wind on maximum and the trims set wrong. when I could handle that then I was ready to go fly for real.

I dont know anything about your aerohawk heli sorry. I do wish you the very best of luck for the future though. If you need to you can contact me and I will do my best to help.

Regards to you.
Darren.
