Re: control

A sim is the best way to go. If you have the money go for something like Great Planes Real Flight G3. And there's E-Skys' trainer that go for about $20. If all else fails get a sim cord for your transmitter and download FMS for free.

Re: control

Hi james,

Long time no speek good to see your still flying.

Nose in is one of those things that divides pilots, they either find it hard or easy lol. Ive been told of a number of ways that might help. The first is the way that I did it which was to lift into a hover then once happy with the hover, turn the heli side in and from there work it round then try to control it. Then as soon as it started to get out of shape, turn it back to tail in and regain control. Repeat until the time nose in starts to get longer.

Other ways Ive heard of doing it are to do figure of 8s and slow down in the middle of the move. And doing nose in from the ground up.. IE starting from landed in nose in... this I think is the hardest way.

The key thing I had to keep telling myself was that it was the SAME heli as had taken off even though it didnt feel it sometimes lol.

Midlands helis, sells a USB transmitter and FMS in a package for about £30.00 which isnt a bad deal. this might help you get it without spending too much.

Hope this helps... Azzy
