New guy saying Hi

Hi

I am quite new to flying RC Helicopters and find it both frustrating and rewarding.

I hope to learn more about this hobby and the technical aspects of keeping my helicopter in the air.

What I feel I can bring to the group is enthusiasm; I am like a puppy with a ball.

I work on a local newspaper in the South of England and enjoy writing, so as my experience progresses I may produce a blog or write some articles, if any one can recommend a few places to post them or if anyone has a site they might need some articles for just ask.

I hope I can bring as much to these forums as the current users do.

Time to start learning, I have today planned as reading the posts here then heading to my local RC shop and annoying Ray (the owner) with my new found knowledge.

Sean

Hi Sean,

Welcome to the forums Enjoy the discussions If theres anything you want to ask, please feel free to do so. The only silly question is one that hasnt been asked.

As far as where to put a blog.. you might want to build a thread in here maybe in "lift off" that you add to as you go along. (I think thats been done once before but it was fun to read) Other than that Im a bit beat lol.

Just as a heads up for you, the 3D masters is on in at Northampton University in 2 Weeks I know its a bit to travel but you will be rewarded by some of the worlds best pilots flying in competition. (Provided the field isnt under water by then lol).

Take care and good luck with it.

Azzy
