Re: Set-up helifreak.com has videos on setting up the T-Rex. It's electric and at least you can get the general idea.

Re: Set-up Really the gaser head setup should be about the same as an electric heli. With the 22E the blade pitch needs to be 0 deg at 0% throttle and about 10 to 11 deg. at full throttle. Once you have the swash plate level, servo arms at 90 deg., trims neutral, and the blades at 0 deg. the final pitch adjustments can be made with the PIT and PLT knobs. I have to replace my main shaft this weekend so I'll get some pics on the servo mess and get you started on a step by step tutorial of the 22E head setup.

Re: Set-up Ok, here's pic set 1. You don't need to remove the head to level the servo arms. It makes things clearer in the pics. First thing is to make sure all your radio trims are centered. This means the PIT/PLT knobs need to be in the 12 o'clock position too. Then unhook the leads to both motors, this is a just in case thing and is up to you. Fire up your radio, plug a battery your heli and wait for things to flutter and settle. Then remove heli power and remove a servo arm and replace it at 90 deg. I like to put power on the heli and let things center between every arm adjustment. If you have the stock servos then you'll be hard pressed to get their arms at exactly 90 deg., just make sure there as close as you can get them and try to make them off in the same direction. Ignore the placement of my front servo as I had to flip it over to make it travel in the right direction for the Sonix head I have. Next up.......swash leveling.

Re: Set-up Is the serovs in the middle pic at 90?? The way they are there are exactly the same as mine is right now. Is that level?
