CX to CP? + video of CX

So I pretty much have control of my blade CX now and (oh...this is my question that Helifever.com asked me to ask becuase I have not posted in several weeks ) seems the only crash i have is when I get too radical with the CD and the blades hit each other.

I am wanting to go to the CP but trying to decide if I should buy new or is it safe to buy used. I see some "deals" on ebay but not sure....After messing around with this CX and crashing several times and rebuilding it I have come to realise a crashed heli can come back but after quite some tinkering. What's your opinion on buying used or new?

Here's a quick video of me messing around at home with the CX.

ApneaBlue

Great video, nice flying. I too am looking into a new or new to me heli.

The deal breaker for me will be price. I am looking on Ebay, as well as this and other forums as well to give me an idea of the price range for used machines.

I know I would like to have a new one, but I really don't see anything wrong with a used heli if the price is right.

Another thing on top of new or used heli is parts availability. Will it be hard to get crash kits for it?

Good luck with your decision.

Re: CX to CP? + video of CX

My Heli experience has been pretty expensive.

First thing I bought was a Walkera 36....I don't know why the hell I did that. I live in jamaica so I went and bought 2 of everything including 2 brushless motoros, 8 sets of 315 blades, real flight g3, a DX6 TX/RX, a bunch of extra servos, pitch gauge, balancer...You name it I bought it...

after the walker experience I have in that setup (including the RFG3) about 1,000...With a total flying time of less than 2 minutes...Most of which was spend way up in the sky uncontroled and fighting the thing to spectacular crashes.

So I went through pretty much all my parts like blades, booms, skids, main shafts, etc...

I rebuilt it and just let it sit...

The I decided to get the CX because the hobby shop guy told me even a retard could fly it...A little politically incorrect on his part using that term but I went for it....I had the best time learning on this thing...Now I pretty much don't crash anymore and want something a little more challenging...I think just because Eflight was so easy to work with and made such a great product I will go ahead and get the CP Pro...Just need to find a used or new one in good shape...Would be nice to find one with the upgraded head and tail as well...Anyway, just rambling.
