Good Habits / Bad Habits

Ok, so here's some questions on what are good/bad habits.

Lanyard? Is it good, bad or indifferent to hook your Tx to a lanyard?

Holding the gimbals? I keep my thumbs on the top of the gimbal and move it around. Watching some of the videos here, I saw people holding the gimbals between thumb and forefingers. Is there a "right" way?

What are some of the other "bad" habits to watch for?

Don't believe that there is a right way. Its what your comfortable with. I'm a thumbs man, although I would say a majority of the top pilots use finger and thumb, with a tray.

Re: Good Habits / Bad Habits

Hi Steve,

No a tray is exactly that, its a tray that holds the tx around your neck at a certain angle (a bit like the hotdog sellers at a ball game).

As with kaji, Im a thumbs man and I use a lanyard. It just doesnt feel right if I try the thumb finger "pinch" method but I can understand how there is more control there.

Hope this helps.... Azzy
