OMG I didn't think it was possible!

Hello all;

I just watched the videos of Sluggo and Curtis and am completely amazed. I didn''t think such flying was even possible. I guess not being inside the helicopter helps allot. I am completely amazed (jaw dropped) at the manuvers that are possible with these little beasts. I can't wait to get mine... I think I will probebly be crashing allot.....

Cheers

Re: OMG I didn't think it was possible!

Hi guys and gals,

Curtis Youngblood and Sluggo are heli pilot gods with there abilities but there are others that are just as good like the Szabo brothers and many more. It is these people that have helped to push the development of helis and also the development of the flight simulator.
As a newbie to the hobby you could do much worse than to watch them fly and then spend hours on todays simulators learning to be like them yourself. I have watched Alan and Danny Szabo progress in the heli world for a long time now. I still in no way can get close to there ability to pilot these things but I have found great deal of contentment in my ability.

I highly recommend you go along to a model show if you get the chance because it is great to see these top pilots fly live. On thing that you can't really see on video is just how much ground these helis can cover in a very short time. They are tremendous.

Take your time in learning, Airtime is the Key to progressive flight and simulators help a lot. I have progressed very nicely and it has not cost me anywhere near as much in crash damage as it would have without the simulator. How I know this is that I tried to learn to fly without one in the early days of taking helis on. It cost me a lot of money in repairs, when I got the simulator that all changed.

Re: OMG I didn't think it was possible!

Twi T,

Try growing up and contributing with some good advice instead of being a sarcastic trumped up little *****.
Your really not helping anyone, where is all this great advice that you are full of? I have only seen you be sarcastic to others about spelling, Also telling complete novices to get a Collective pitch heli and just fly is not good advice in any way shape or form.

The fact that you spoil good postings with a *yawn* followed by rubbish, tells me that you are only just out of single digits on the age front. I suppose those of us that see what you write shouldn't be surprised therefore that you come across as Twi T only could.

Now how about you try and give out some of this fantastic advice you told me you had. I'm sure we will all get some benefit from it, even if it is more laughter.
Twi T,
I am sorry if this has upset you, They say the truth hurts. But don't take it to heart fella. I am sure you will grow up in a few more years, who knows you may learn to share by then. You may even end up with a few more Friends.
Tell you what Twi T, I'll be your friend.
