New CP PRO guy Hi all, My first post here, it looks like a great site for learning. I am new to the hobby, and started with a Blade CX. It was very easy so I stepped up to the CP PRO. It's more challenging for sure. I have a couple of questions on that heli. Does temp. make a difference on how the servos function, it does weird things when its cold, also all is well on throttle until about 7/8 then its like i'm turning the power down. Thanks for any help

Re: New CP PRO guy I know temperature has something to do with batteries. It will drain your batteries faster when it is cold. I am not sure what it will do to the servos.

| Re: New CP PRO guy Hey, welcome to the forum. How cold is cold? Most everything mechanical will be affected if it's really cold. Servo response time will slow down, etc. Also be careful with the plastic bits on the heli. What's normally fairly crash resistant will shatter if it's cold enough. As for the power dropping, my initial thought is to check the throttle curve on your transmitter. It may be telling the power to reduce.

Re: New CP PRO guy I think thats normal. Anyway mine does the same thing but at the same time it gives full pitch to the blades, I have held my Cp Pro and turned the throttle trim all the way up and that last bit of throttle really digs in to the air and its hard to hold.

Re: New CP PRO guy Thanks for the responses, Cold is about 30 to 40 degrees, it seems like above 50 all is well, except for the throttle problem. I tried it again tonight and it seems like about 3 to 4 clicks down from max throttle and the motor speeds up. The good news is since I'm new to flying I don't normally have the throttle in that position. Thanks again for the help
