Where can I find good deals? I am new to this and I am wondering how much a decent helicopter ranges for a beginner. I want gas-powered. Also, what are some good websites?

Hi, There is a section in called "ONLINE SHOPS" - have a browse around those to see the different type of beginner helicopters. Also, don't completely dismiss electric helis. In the past these were limited to a few minutes' flying between charges. That's changed now with advances in motor and battery technology. I'm not clued up with the latest gas helis for beginners, but have a browse through these discussion boards to get a feel. Off the top of my head, there's the Raptor, the Shuttle, and the Nexus (I think).

Gee, I'm not with it this morning - so sorry. That reply of mine was quite impersonal and terse, I should have noticed this was your first post and said: Welcome to the world of model helicopters! This is a good board to have joined - and there are some really good people on here :-) Must go and have a coffee and wake myself up..... Keep in touch !!!
