? about T-rex electronics

I have a T-rex 450x kit. I'm almost done putting it together and I can't tell where I should put the ESC. Where are they normally located? I also think the LHS sold me a battery that is too big, it rides up into the nose of the canopy, I'm thinking it is not supost to do that........

Esc it's your choice some fix it on the side left or right some under the body i have it in the body to the back it doesn't really matter as long as you do not have clinches as for the batt. yes it almost or touches the canopy nose.

Re: ? about T-rex electronics

I have seen an ESC fitted under the heli mainframes.....this is ok....as it will keep a bit cooler there....yes..the battery is a bit big....I would add a small plastic platform to help support it.....this is the only thing I dont like about the TRex.....otherwise its a lovely little heli.

Do you have problems with the servo arms? I have seen them rubbing on the inside of the canopy.....this is a pity....but it can be lived with.....though if the rubbing is too much it might wreck the servos.....they have enough work to do without added work.
