Cant get my Walkera 36 off the ground...

Any ideas? I guess I don't have the brushless motor- perhaps that is it? This is brand new, out of the box, and I have been careful not to tinker with it much. The Gyro initializes, then solid red light, then flashes slowly upon throttle up, is this normal?

I can get swashplate level by setting trim switches. It's wants to tip as I hit full throttle, but won't leave the ground fully. I'm using the trainer mounted to the bottom so I don't damage anything. The helicopter spins slowly clockwise on the ground when I increase the throttle. Guessing the adjustment on the gyro might stabilize this. I put battery on charger for at least 3 hours. I have two new batteries, so don't think I have bad battery.

Kind of frustrating since Im new at this, and just got this for Christmas.

I try flying at night (work 7 days, so cant try duing day) and the temp is upper 30's.

ANy ideas anyone?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give a NooB.
