Radio 6 channels and 9 channels

I am just considering getting into the hobby. I notice that there are also 9 channel HC radios. They are a lot more expensive.

Will I eventually need a 9 channel radio? Is it wise to invest in a 9 channel radio right away?

Thanks

Radio

Hi'
I have actualy advised a close freind on this recently and she keeps thanking me.(shocks)
Seriously though the same thing needs to be said.
If you can afford it then buy the best you can, In this case the 9 channel radio. It has a lot more ability to cope with anything you can throw its way and will never be outgrown.
If I could afford it then that is the route I would have gone.

Good luck,
Daz.
