| Gyro I saw this gyro on e-bay. The specs are the same as a Futaba GY401. Has anyone heard anything about it. I've had a T-Rex 450 hanging for 2 years and finally going to get a gyro and try to get the heli off the ground. Just wondered about the clone gyro. Here is a picture. |

| Re: Gyro Hey Pdarr, can't tell from the picture what brand it is. Who makes it, and how much is it?

| Re: Gyro Well, It's not surprising that the Chinese would knock off the Japanese. It seems to be a good value, but I'd be careful. I'd check for online reviews, etc. before taking the plunge. I doubt it'll be seviceable if you have a problem, whereas the Futaba is. Still can't tell what the brand is from the website, so it's pretty much "caveat emptor." The shipper expressly states that there will be no returns unless damaged in shipping. That makes me a little leary. As others on the forum have stated, buy cheap and you will buy twice. It's your money however, so if it works out for you, let us know I have other heli's myself that are in need of gyro, servos, etc. Thanks
