| well its time to go spend some money but the more I look the more confused I get can anyone help me. Im buying my first heli and have looked at the New Hirobo Shuttle, The Kyosho concept/caliber and nexus and the raptor V2 all in a 30 size which one would be the best to learn with but at the same time when I eventually get better wont out grow or get bored with are they all pretty much the same or what. I took into consideration the parts and they are all prety easily available with the shuttle having the cheapest replacement parts but not by much I have also been told about the new JR voyager 50 which he though would suit me better but this would mean id have to buy a radio that can do ccpm and then im talking big dollars all up I have currently got a Futaba t6xa (non super) so im a bit restricted the other option is to sell the unit to upgrade I have a bit of experience with r/c planes and have purchased the great planes simulator and have picked it up quite well ( I think ) can nose in/tail in hover do slow figure eights and the basics quite easily so would it be better to spent the extra or still just go cheaper and buy the raptor or something. anyway thanx for any input ill stop rambling now .... ![]() |

| unless that's the heli controller, you're going to want to change your transmitter shortly after you learn to hover anyway. I've just started learning on a raptor and i wouldn't fault anything about it, but the raptor is the only heli i've flown so I'm not saying it's any better than anything else, just that i'm happy with it.
