NooB Here - E-Flite Blade CP Pro

After MANY MANY years of wanting a R/C Helicopter, I bought a Blade CP Pro for my first one. (I know, the guy at the store told me to get the CX, but I wanted a better one...)

Today was my first day trying it out. It was a bit breezy out (not too bad, but WOW are they sensitive...) I went through 2 sets of Rotor blades.

Are there any tips for complete newbies like myself?

I am going tomorrow to buy the Gyro for it. (I already bought a spare battery.) And some extra rotor blades. Anything else I should get?

The guy at the store advised against the Carbon Fiber blades. He said that with a Blade Strike (which, as a newbie, I am bound to have) the Carbon Fiber blades will not break, and will instead break the Head Unit. Any other advice?

So far, I have "Flown" for about an hour and a half, and I LOVE it. It is every bit as fun and challenging as I had hoped it would be.
