My engine seized up

I just got my helicopter assembled today and I went out to fly it. When I was starting it some fuel sprayed out of something and it made a little grinding noise and siezed up. Anyone have an idea what happened and how to fix it?

it"s sounds to me like it's just floded try to remove your glow plug
it will release compression and it should turn after this.
new engines make sounds like that sometimes spcialy abc engines.
then start the heli with no glow plug to empty the fuel in the cylinder no it will not start no glow plug its just to spin the starter
if this happens everytime you will need a fuel line pincher when you fuel your heli the fuel probably fills the carb so to much compression when floded

hope this helps

I tried all that and it still won't turn even a little bit. Could anything else have happened?

Seized engine

I bought a second hand heli from ebay and the lad selling said his engine was seized, When I got it I took it out of the heli and opened it up. I found that the lad had put a screwdriver or a bar of sorts in to the exhaust port to lock the piston as he took the clutch and fan off. this put a dent in the piston and liner.
The two had come together and refused to move at all and required replacing.
Hope this is not the case with yours, But Has anyone locked your piston this way? If so it may be worth checking your liner and piston by removeing them and looking for scrapes down the side of the piston. Or you may even see this through the exhaust outlet.

Regards
Daz,

this makes sense i've also senn that piston lock tool the one that screews in on top where the glow plug goes,do damage
if you torque to much it can damage the connecting rod or the piston connecting rod pin.

anny luck finding the prob yet
